  • COVID-19 Compliance measures
FSL India has taken necessary measures to ensure that our staff and the partners we collaborate with are compliant on COVID-19 related precautions.
    • All staff and volunteers are trained in hand hygiene and hand washing procedures.
    • Our Host Families and Projects in which volunteers will be placed are given appropriate guidelines to ensure the safety and well-being of all concerned.
    • Our Training center in Kundapur - Center for Experiential Living (CEL) – and the surrounding places are fumigated periodically to maintain hygiene. Staff are trained in COVID-19 quarantine and self-isolation procedures.
    • We have Travel and Safety procedures in place for our staff and volunteers. This includes Do’s and Dont’s, which are discussed in detail during the on-arrival Orientation.
    • FSL India has well-defined Emergency Action Plans (EAP), and Volunteer Evacuation procedures in place to deal with situations like pandemics, natural disasters etc.
    • We are well connected with local authorities, police and Foreign Consulates to deal with emergency situations.
NOTE: In March, we successfully coordinated the evacuation and safe travel of 59 International volunteers from their respective projects to their home country. click here
